For over 10 years, La Jolla Country Day School has trained all of its middle school teachers in Facing History and Ourselves' core case study, Holocaust and Human Behavior. This forms the foundation for their 7th and 8th grade Advisory, which addresses issues of identity, stereotyping and prejudice, the Holocaust and contemporary injustices, the Civil Rights Movement, and memorials.
