A Free Workshop for Government teachers presented by Constitutional Rights Foundation and Facing History and Ourselves. Under what conditions do people care about others? When does that care translate into thoughtful action? What are the responsibilities of citizens to participate in their communities—local, national, and global? At this workshop, explore these ideas with the resources from two leading civic education organizations. Participants will explore the video and study guide for Reporter from Facing History and Ourselves and the Civic Action Project created by the Constitutional Rights Foundation. Both resources integrate Common Core skill development. Participants will receive a $50 stipend. Click here for more information and to register.
